Although we can supply ITE (In the Ear), ITC (In the Canal) and CIC (Completely in the Canal) hearing aids, we don't because they require custom ear impressions that need to be taken by a hearing healthcare professional. In the interest of public safety and convenience, we only supply BTE (Behind the Ear) hearing aids as the products are universal. You may still need to purchase a custom ear mold from your local hearing healthcare provider if you want a complete custom fit.
If you have worn the hearing aid for a few days and know that an adjustment is needed, simply contact us. We will discuss what needs to be done and make notes as to what to do. You may ship your hearing aids to us: when the hearing aids arrive we will try to get them adjusted and back in the mail to you.
Alternatively, you can visit your local hearing aids specialist or your audeologist and they can do adjustments for you for a small fee.
With Open Fit hearing aids there are a variety of tubes and domes which are designed to fit different sizes and shapes of ears. We'll help you choose the best fit for you. If you decide that the size you have needs to be changed, we will give you a different size tube and/or dome at no charge.
An ear hook is a clear plastic attachment to the hearing aid that couples the hearing aid to the tubing.
